Alice Bruter

Alice Bruter is a NJ/NYC based dancer and dance educator. With training in jazz and contemporary and experience in the competitive dance world, she teaches at studios across NJ and NYC. She has a background as a competitive dancer and currently continues her training in NYC.

 

Alice teaches and assists a wide range of styles including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, technique, and creative movement. She works with both recreational and competitive dancers of all ages, including teaching her own NYC adult classes. Apart from teaching, she has remained actively involved in the competitive dance world by working both backstage and on the judging panel with several dance competitions. She is also an NDEO scholarship recipient and is committed to continuing her education as a dance educator through various professional development opportunities.

In addition to her dance background, Alice is a Registered Nurse and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with minors in psychology and business administration from William Paterson University. She is also certified proficient in Russian.

 

Alice brings a supportive yet structured approach to teaching. She strives to create a welcoming environment in the spaces she leads. She values ensuring that dancers feel valued, safe, and encouraged as they continue in their training.
